Who handles your enquiry
Billy Robinson, trading as Wyrhta Works, is responsible for the personal information received through this contact form. You can contact us about your information using the Contact us button on the About page.
What we collect and why
We collect your email address, your message and your name if you choose to provide it. We use these details to read, respond to and follow up on your enquiry. Providing an email and a message is necessary for us to reply; providing a name is optional. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message.
Our lawful basis for ordinary enquiries is legitimate interests: communicating with people who choose to contact the studio and managing those conversations. Where an enquiry concerns entering into a contract with you, we may also use information necessary to take steps at your request before entering that contract. Submitting this form does not subscribe you to marketing.
Where your message goes
Your message is sent securely to Formspree, which processes form submissions and forwards them to our email inbox, handled by Google/Gmail. The website does not keep an additional database of contact messages or save your draft in browser storage. Formspree and hosting services may also process technical information, such as IP addresses, for delivery, security and spam prevention.
Formspree is based in the United States, and these providers may process information outside the UK. Formspree describes its processing and transfer safeguards in its privacy policy and security information. Google’s handling of information is described in its privacy policy.
How long information is kept
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond, manage any related conversation and resolve outstanding matters. When deciding whether it is still needed, we consider whether the enquiry is open, whether follow-up is expected and whether the information is required for a resulting project, contract, legal obligation or dispute. Formspree’s separate submission archive is subject to the retention settings and limits of our account. Deleting an archive entry does not automatically delete the email copy.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your information, have it deleted, restrict its use or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where applicable, you also have a right to data portability. Use the contact form for a request and identify the email address used for your enquiry; we may need to verify your identity. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
This notice covers contact-form enquiries. We do not sell enquiry details or use the form to make automated decisions about you.
